Originally from Vancouver BC, Gavin Matts is a NY-based stand up, writer, and actor. He was the winner of the 2017 SiriusXM Canada’s Top Comic competition at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival.
In 2018, Gavin was named a Comic To Watch at Team Coco’s 2018 New York Comedy Festival Showcase. This led to Gavin making his American late-night debut on Conan. Gavin has also been featuring on Comedy Central multiple times, and was hand picked by Bill Burr to appear on Bill Burr Presents: The Ringers (Comedy Central). Gavin has also made acting appearances on Hulu’s Ramy, Power, and Jo Koy’s film ‘Easter Sunday’.
His debut special, progression, is set to be released through All Things Comedy August 2023 and is executive produced by Bill Burr.
