Bridget Christie is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer.
In 2013 Bridget won the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show with her show A BIC FOR HER. The show also won the 2014 South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy, the 2014 Chortle Award for Best Show and a 2014 Hospital 100 Club Award for Performance and Theatre and broke box office records at Soho Theatre.
Bridget has written for The Times, The Sunday Times, The Independent and various magazines and publications. Between October 2015 and March 2016 Bridget had her own hugely popular weekly column in Guardian Weekend magazine which gained her a Glamour Magazine 2016 columnist of the year award nomination.
In July 2018 Bridget headlined the comedy tent at Latitude Festival. In August 2019 she headlined Leeds and Reading.
In September 2018 Bridget guest-hosted BBC Radio 4’s flagship satirical news show The News Quiz and in 2019 she became the 14th curator of The Museum of Curiosity.
She has appeared in various TV and radio shows including Have I Got News For You, QI, Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule, The News Quiz, Dilemma, and Taskmaster Series 13 which won her a legion of new fans.
